Biography

Erika Lemay was born in Quebec, Canada. She began her extraordinary journey through the art of dance with her first ballet class at the young age of 4.

After a short career in conventional gymnastics, she found her passion as a performing circus artist by the age of 11, soon becoming the youngest and most prominent member of Cirque Eos.

At 14, Erika attended her first European performance at Belgium's international circus festival ‘La Piste aux Espoirs’. Her performance marked a stunning start to her international career, winning her the Public's Choice Award and the Gold Medal. Other tours with major international circuses were to follow—in Canada, the USA, Europe, and Central and South America. Erika's wonderful family believed in her dreams and supported her throughout.

In 2003, Erika became a freelance artist, receiving awards from most prestigious world-class festivals and building a successful career in the niche market of exclusive events worldwide.

Since 2012, she creates, directs and produces bespoke shows on stage and on screen, narrating other peoples’ visions through Physical Poetry.

When not touring for worldwide performances or artistic directions, Erika endeavours to inspire a new generation to develop their full potential through the Arts. She currently holds the honorary position of Arts Ambassador for the cultural foundation Pensare Oltre.

Redefining Achievement: A Tale of Dedication

Erika's story is one of resilience, creativity, and an unyielding commitment to her passion. She has transcended the traditional boundaries of her industry and paved the way for herself, demonstrating that dedication and authenticity can lead to incredible success.

The Artist, The Athlete, The Businesswoman.

Erika Lemay has spent a lifetime perfecting herself. From the age of 13, she strived to become the best in the world, fine-tuning her body and personality to be the only one the audience would remember. Talent is a myth and the queen of discipline and willpower will show everyone why. Today, she is world-famous for what she accomplished on stage, but what justifies her success is the system behind the results.

A true polymath in her field, she doesn't merely wear multiple hats; she possesses them with authority. In a world that often compartmentalises talent, Erika is a living testament to the power of breaking free from constraints. Her international achievements and medals, while impressive, dim in comparison to the profound path she's forged. Erika's life is a testament to the importance of crafting a meaningful journey, serving as a beacon of inspiration and empowerment for many.

Every day is a stage. Where the demand for peak performance knows no off-seasons; how does one navigate through downs? As a seasoned public speaker, Erika Lemay shares the secrets that have enabled her to thrive and dominate her field—and beyond— for nearly three decades. She is a steadfast advocate for innovation, pushing boundaries, and conquering personal fears. She shares a meticulously crafted methodology of elite performance and countless unbelievable anecdotes in her book "ALMOST PERFECT—The Life Guide to Creating Your Success Story Through Passion and Fearlessness."

Today, at age 40 and after a supposedly career-ending injury that would leave her debilitated for the rest of her life, she has recently launched her most noteworthy performance: SHADOW SYMPHONY, a full show that is a true gravity-defying testament to her passion and a proof of true masterful skills that transcend human capabilities.
