Erika Lemay is a professional circus artist who grew up trough circus art since 1994. Her different circus acts such as Handstanding-Contortion, Aerial hoop and Aerial Silk built her a strong reputation in the circus arts around the world. She already performed more than 2000 shows on international stages.

Érika has recently been rewarded with a 3rd prize at the “Golden Circus festival 2007” in Roma and also got a bronze medal at the prestigious “Festival de Cirque de Demain 2007” in Paris.

Her passion for the stage starts as early as age four, at a time when Erika begins classical ballet. She then practices gymnastics and finally at eleven years old, while discovering circus arts, she finds her way and her true passion.

Very early on, she gets noticed in the circus world, notably when she wins the gold medal and the public award at an international competition « La Piste aux Espoirs 1998 ». And she is only fourteen! Rigourous work ethics and outstanding willpower allow her to develop physical and artistic qualities that distinguishes her from her peers. Erika is also known for her versatality since she practices four disciplines from circus arts.

Today, she illustrates herself across the world as an independant artist with her many different creations.
