This performance is the artist's latest creation. She works to combine in symbiosis contortion, dance and handstanding. This is how she conceived with originality an art which she calls "Dance on Hands". This piece entails special value for Erika since it stems from a long artistic research with the choreographer, Anne Plamondon. Although the physical qualities shown in this number are absolutly incredible, we actually transcend technique to touch the very essence of the artist. Erika lets us enter a world where she struggles between reason and desire. We perceive her in all of her integrity, in her strenght as well as her vulnerability.
