The aerial hoop is a circus discipline that goes back a long way but Erika Lemay gives it a very particular tinge. The circus artist demonstrates outstanding agility and precision and this allows her to execute a string of acrobatic movements while at the same time unfurling a rotational force thus becoming a true aerial spinning top. 

The spectator is then not only bewitched by these unbeleivable swirling movements, but also by a deeply moving theatrical passion. More than twelve years of work has enabled this artist to master the aerial hoop in such a spectacular fashion.
